Heat Treatments

Heat treatments are a group of metal working processes used to alter the physical, and sometimes chemical, properties of materials. The most common application is metallurgical. Heat treatment involves the use of heating or chilling, normally to extreme temperatures, to achieve a desired result such as hardening or softening of materials. Heat treatment techniques include annealing, hardening, strengthening, tempering, normalizing and quenching. The termheat treatment applies only to processes where the heating and cooling are done for the specific purpose of altering properties intentionally.

Surface Treatments

Surface treatments are a group of techniques for performing different sheet metal surface finishes and preparation. It includes sand (or any media) blasting. It is performed for adhesion increasing or optic demands, depending on gloss requirements. We also apply chemical cleaning and Electro polishing.

Painting

Painting is the practice of applying paint, polymers or synthetic material to a surface, with the purpose protecting the part from corrosion or any other protective need.

Plating/Coating

Plating is a surface-covering technique in which a metal is deposited on a conductive surface. Plating is used to decorate objects, inhibit corrosion, harden and improve solder ability, improve wear ability, reduce friction, improve paint adhesion, alter conductivity, improve IR reflectivity, and other purposes. Plating is also uses in nanotechnology.
Types of Plating: Gold Plating Gold over Nickel Plating Silver Plating Tin Plating Nickel Plating Electro less Nickel Plating Chromium & Black Chromium, Black Oxide, Zinc, Plating Cadmium Plating Passivation
