All coatings are carried out by subcontractors approved by the defense industries and under
the stringent quality assurance of Chemograf’s Quality Control Department.
Coatings are, in fact, a “covering” of the part’s surface with a layer of material using various
techniques. The purpose of this covering is to protect the part in different ways according to
its intended use or the operating environment. We apply several coating families to provide
corrosion protection, improve solderability, modify the coefficient of friction, adjust
reflectivity as required, achieve decorative effects, or address any other need. Recently,
more and more nano-coating techniques have been adopted in the nano-technology
industry.
The types of coatings we handle include: gold, silver, gold or silver over nickel, tin,
electroless nickel, nickel, chrome, black chrome, cadmium, black oxide, zinc, vapor-
deposited materials, etc.
